At the time of Lion Capital’s acquisition, Jimmy Choo was an iconic luxury fashion brand specializing in women’s shoes, handbags and accessories with 150 retail stores in 32 countries. During the investment period, Jimmy Choo doubled the number of retail points of sale and achieved 25% annualized growth in shoe sales and 100% annualized growth in handbag sales, resulting in overall sales and EBITDA nearly doubling. This investment was realized through a sale to TowerBrook Capital Partners.
